JD - Engine Installation & Cooling
System:
As the Engine
installation and Cooling Design Engineer, he/she will design and develop
cooling systems, cooling schematics and general engine install systems for
heavy earthmoving vehicles. He/she will be responsible for providing
engineering and related services, taking projects from the conceptual stage to
production, participating, engaging, managing and/or delivering engineering
services including drafting/modelling, design, and/or analysis.
He/she should be a motivated individual
with sound time management skills with an ability to manage his/her own
workload and to coordinate design efforts with other on-site and off-site
engineers to provide cost effective, reliable and manufactural designs to
support project timelines.
An understanding and ability to interpret
ISO/Industry Design Quality Standards is a requirement of this role.
Job Duties/Responsibilities may include,
but are not limited to:
1.
Design & detail of cooling
systems and engine installation system
2.
General light structure design
& detailing
3.
General design and routing on
fluid systems
4.
Work on Creo (Routing/Piping,
Sheet metal, Solid modelling, casting modelling, etc)
5.
Work with suppliers
6.
Work with clients / customers
in US/ other countries and be flexible on work timing, late evenings/ early
mornings.
7.
Management of own projects and
timelines
Basic Qualifications:
1.
Batchelors in Mechanical
Engineering
2.
Experience in Engine packaging
/ Cooling System Design (Experience range 3-12 years & min 3 years relevant
experience)
3.
Very strong Creo tool, Creo
Piping & Teamcenter PLM experience
4.
Teamcenter Vismockup experience
5.
Plant/industrial exposure
6.
Creo Simulate / FEA skills
7.
CFD skills (Optional)
