| Description/Comment: | Electrical Systems Controls Engineer - Advanced Power Products Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: * Determining detailed functional requirements for Advanced Power Products and Components and implement the same in a Controls environment to evaluate Controls characteristics - Power Converters - Inverter based Controls , Converter Based Controls * Carrying out detailed model creation and validation for existing and in-development power products like inverters, converters, and controllers, using test data and component details * Simulating various test cases for static and dynamic analysis of controls systems developed for power systems operations - like load, flow, Over Voltage , Under Voltage, protection circuits, etc * Carrying out simulations of microgrids with various power sources like PV, Wind Turbines, Diesel Gensets, Battery Energy Storage Systems, etc * Meeting modelling and simulation goals for cost, reliability, performance, timelines and managing multiple priorities * Work closely with global team on new product development * Communicate technical information to customers, team members, suppliers and other business units
